Hi! I’m Jerome,

I grew up in Beijing and spent most of my childhood living and studying there. My path toward becoming an industrial designer was heavily influenced by my grandfather, who worked as a carpenter. I was truly inspired by his passion for crafting and his problem-solving abilities, which he approached with a clear thought process.

To me, design is the art of seeking and defining a narrative. Throughout the design process, I initiate by exploring new experiences and using them as a foundation for my works; This inspiration can stem from cherished user cultural memories or a logical context for problem-solving. I am constantly intrigued by what the future holds and how I, as a designer, can shape opportunities. I believe that merging an engaging narrative with a daring mindset will result in a better and innovative design.

When I’m not designing, you’ll find me reading and writing at home. I'm also passionate about mural painting and fine arts. Once in a while I’ll do painting in the studio.
